Lovey Subby began in the streets of Italy more than a decade ago, when founder and Leathersmith, Skyler Rigby, lived in cities such as Roma, Napoli, and Palermo. It was there that he came to understand slow, passionate living in a way he never had before.

Those experiences sparked a desire to create lasting products with meaning and beauty woven into every step of the process. He brought the finest leathers from the region of Tuscany and his craft home to his atelier in Idaho, where he set out to fulfill his vision of creating exceptional leather goods to be enjoyed for years to come.

Where Two Passions Meet

Shortly after returning to the States, Skyler met and married founder Brenda, better known as Lovey. Her passion for adventure, connection, and fun created a natural partnership, one where living fully and finding beauty in the everyday became part of their shared life.

Over the next decade, that shared passion continued to shape and refine what would eventually become Lovey Subby. In late 2024, the first true offerings of the brand were released.

Today, each piece is designed and produced in-house, one at a time, by our hands. It is an atelier experience inspired by the regions where Skyler first discovered his love of craftsmanship and by a life built around passionate living with his wife Brenda.
